Job Context

  • The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate cooperation among stakeholders related with the governance of transboundary rivers in the Ganges – Brahmaputra – Meghna river basins. This includes stakeholders from the government, private sector, civil society, and grassroots communities. The position will primarily focus on – Transboundary Rivers of South Asia (TROSA) programme (2017-2021) is now starting its second phase in Bangladesh, as TROSA 2: Rivers, Rights ad Resilience (T2:3R). The project will run from 2023 to 2026 with a specific focus on strengthening riparian communities` resilience against the impacts of climate change and water-related shocks.
