We are looking for an experienced, driven Video Surveillance and Data Monitoring Team with a wealth of software knowledge. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable splitting their hours between the offices and attending council meetings.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor Video & Data Feeds: Keep a vigilant eye on live video feeds from surveillance cameras to detect and respond to any suspicious or abnormal activities and find data mismatch.
- Analyze Data: Review and analyze data generated by surveillance systems, identifying patterns, trends, and anomalies that may require further investigation.
- Incident Response: Promptly respond to security incidents or breaches by taking appropriate actions, such as alerting relevant personnel, reporting incidents, or following predefined protocols.
- Operate Surveillance Equipment: Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, ensuring that cameras, recording devices, and software are functioning correctly at all times.
- Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and organized records of surveillance activities, incidents, and outcomes for future reference and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with Security Team: Coordinate with the broader security team to share relevant information and contribute to a comprehensive security strategy.
- Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports summarizing surveillance findings, incidents, and actions taken. These reports may be used for internal review or external legal purposes.
- Stay Current with Technology: Keep up-to-date with advancements in video surveillance and data monitoring technologies, suggesting improvements or updates to the existing system as needed.
- Privacy Compliance: Ensure that all surveillance activities adhere to legal and ethical standards, particularly those related to privacy and data protection.
- Emergency Situations: Assist in emergency response situations by providing real-time information and support to emergency responders and decision-makers.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and address technical issues with surveillance equipment, collaborating with IT or technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Training and Support: Provide training and guidance to new team members, sharing best practices for effective surveillance and data monitoring.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose enhancements to surveillance procedures, tools, and protocols to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information and data with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
