data edge limited is one of the leading ICT System Integration company in Bangladesh providing ICT solutions to its wide customer base in Bangladesh and abroad. data edge limited is looking for some young professionals and future leaders for the position of Business Development Specialist, Technical Sales (Software & Applications) to assist its Software & Applications sales activities under Business Development Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers & explore new customers for the business applications & software solutions offered by data edge limited.
- Manages the marketing and sales of applications and software solutions.
- Assess the needs of the customer and provide detailed information about the technical specifications of the company’s software solutions.
- From prospecting to closing, maintain the full lifecycle of the sales process.
- Manage client relationships to assure best in class service.
- Arranging meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
- Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
- Gathering market and customer information.
- Liaise with existing clients to seek and drive more business opportunities
- Problem Solver – quickly assess client’s pain points and come up with comprehensive and tangible solutions.
- Designs new opportunities by analyzing business requirements of a project, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying team capabilities.
- Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project team, establishing project budget.
- Monitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, bench marking state-of-the-art practices, participating in professional societies.
