data edge limited is one of the leading ICT System Integration company in Bangladesh providing ICT solutions to its wide customer base in Bangladesh and abroad. data edge limited is looking for some suitable technology sales experts for the position of Senior Business Development Specialist to assist it`s Sales (Govt. Sector) Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Clear understanding of govt procurement process, specially govt IT procurement & sales process as well as technical solutions.
- Identifies business opportunities in govt sector by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Keeping up to date with the latest product information in technology market. Advising customers of updates and new technologies.
- Pro-actively approaching customers to solve any kind of requirement or support.
- Sourcing potential new customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
- Gathering customer, vendor, competitors & market information to plan and execute sales strategies properly.
