Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the largest and leading conglomerates in Bangladesh. Meghna Pulp & Paper Mills Limited (MPPML) is one of the sister concerns of MGI which is engaged in producing Writing Paper, Printing Paper and Media Paper with the world`s finest raw materials and using famous European Recard Technology and sophisticated GSM (Grams per Square Meter) control machines. Currently, MPPML is searching for Manager for its plant operation in Factory Complex. The position of “Manager” will play the Mechanical related engineering responsibilities and will report to the functional head.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the Mechanical Department as Second-in-Command for smooth operations and leadership.
- Manage Material Planning, Procurement, and Job Scheduling in the factory to optimize production processes and allocate resources efficiently.
- Implement modifications to enhance equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Optimize material usage within the factory to reduce costs and waste.
- Forecast raw material requirements to prevent shortages and delays.
- Allocate manpower efficiently in the factory for optimal task management.
- Optimize Machine Performance & Cost Efficiency through lubrication and machining techniques.
- Enhance staff communication and collaboration for teamwork.
- Set specific plant goals to motivate the team.
- Conduct regular equipment maintenance to prevent breakdowns, extend equipment life and maintain product quality.
- Ensure plant safety protocols are enforced to protect employees, equipment and the environment.
- Prepare regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities and provide comprehensive insights for informed decision-making and process improvement.
