Job Context

    In this role, you will support the Director and the Global Resource Mobilisation & Partnerships (GRP) team in managing administrative work, preparing reports and meeting notes, maintaining information flow, and responding to other requests as necessary. The role will be the primary coordinator of managing internal and external communications for the Director and GRP team. S/he will also be the primary coordinator for meetings and strategic communications related to the Strategic Partnership Arrangement and other key partnerships with donors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and meeting relevant stakeholders, as appropriate.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries for the Director.
  • Schedule all meetings related to the Strategic Partnership Arrangement- working group, steering committee, technical consortia, etc.
  • Follow up on donor requests for information.
  • Liaise with the BRAC Visitor’s Office to arrange site visits for donors.
  • Arrange and coordinate team events, including team retreats, partner meetings, etc.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality, as suggested by the Director.
  • Support the GRP team to prepare internal and external strategic documents, as needed.
  • Maintain an organised filing system of paper and electronic documents, for both GRP and other relevant stakeholder across BRAC.
  • Support the GRP team in different work, including coordination with stakeholders, follow-up on different deliverables with internal stakeholders, etc.
  • Arrange the weekly/ monthly team meetings and coordinate with relevant team members to prepare agendas, take notes, and execute meeting follow-up.

  • Minimum 01 year experience, preferably in development or related field and experience in providing strategic support to the senior leadership

  • Minimum 01 year experience, preferably in development or related field and experience in providing strategic support to the senior leadership.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, and ideally in Bangla as well.
  • Critical thinking and strong attention to detail.
  • Impeccable organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Commitment to BRAC’s mission.
  • Ability to work across cultures, with external stakeholders, international colleagues, etc and manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new technologies easily (e.g. slack, google drive, trello, etc.)
  • Should be curious, adaptive and eager to constantly learn.
