Job Context

Job Location: Hemayetpur (Singair road), Savar, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities
- Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical
- analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices.
- Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and
- procedures.
- Prepares blood, plasma, and platelets for transfusions by conducting blood group, type,
- and compatibility tests.
- Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;
- anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt
- of supplies.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
- regulations.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control and hazardous waste
- policies and protocols; following identification procedures.
- Maintains patient confidence and protects the hospital by keeping information
- confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Monitoring subordinates work
- Communicate with patient and concerned physician in case of need
- Immediately taking necessary action about emergency report

Additional Requirements

- Must have experience in Hospital/Diagnostic medical lab
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in similar position in medical/health care
- facilities
- Must have computer skills MS word, Bangla and English typing
- Candidate must speak clearly and with well manner
- Self-disciplined – able to lead, train and control a technical team.
- Associate degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory)
- Capable of prioritizing tasks to meet goals and ensure product quality
- Willing to meet on-call obligations as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively
