Job Responsibilities

  • Vision and guide to develop long term strategies to build Toffee as next generation media company that impact the economys overall success
  • Guide to develop strategies on new Business models (example: creative interventions, media contents, sports, learning contents etc) designed to ensure Toffee’s continuous business growth
  • Vision and guide additional sources of revenue through different creative strategies such as music, premium subscriptions, innovative chat platform etc.
  • Guide to develop strategies at how content from different communities is treated in search and discovery and monetization
  • Effectively contribute to develop the OTT ecosystem in Bangladesh, identify potential digital talents and partners for Banglalink and establish Banglalink as a digital brand
  • Partner with business leaders throughout the organization to assist them on their digital journey and business growth
  • Partner with product and analytics teams to synthesize complex web data, product performance and voice of customer data to form actionable insights to accelerate growth
  • Explore new technologies and trends to keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital platforms
  • Strategy to set a priority to continue to update Toffee’s approach to responsibility so people find high-quality information
  • Guide to develop strategies to enable people creating content which is why propose investment to provide creators more video editing tools
  • Strategies to help the next generation of mobile creators tell their stories by lowering the barriers to entry
  • Vision to enable many users and consumers research products on Toffee before they buy and hence integrate shopping into the Toffee experience
  • Strategies to be benefited from partnerships with governments on critical issues, like preventing violent extremism and coordinated influence operations on Toffee platform
  • Manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal
  • Ensure team is equipped with the requisite knowledge, identify training requirements, Develop and coach individuals

  • BBA/BSc and MBA from a reputed university with major in Marketing / Finance / Computer Science / Telecom Engineering / Business Policy & Strategy

  • Academic Qualification- BBA/BSc and MBA from a reputed university with major in Marketing / Finance / Computer Science / Telecom Engineering / Business Policy & Strategy
  • Job Experience Required- At least 20 years working experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience in managing digital product portfolio
  • Required Capabilities- Advanced knowledge on digital product development strategies, growth strategies and retention strategies
  • Sound knowledge on video Content eco system
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of launching successful products and digital product lifecycle management
  • Advance knowledge on digital product development strategies, growth strategies and retention strategies
  • Advanced knowledge on analytics
  • Advanced knowledge on digital product (app, web) development process and technologies
  • Expertise in marketing/sales, passion for digital innovation
