Job Context

    The HR & Admin Executive is responsible for developing and implementing HR & admin policies and procedures, overseeing recruitment and selection processes, managing employee relations, administering compensation and benefits programs, and providing support in administration for Asia Hotel & Resorts, a 3-star hotel in Dhaka.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, CV short listing, etc.
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assess training needs, develop training programs, and co-ordinate training initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data and related documentation.
  • Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends. Ensure HR practices are compliant with relevant legislation.
  • Managing the renewal of necessary licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
  • Conduct background checks and verify employment references.
  • Conduct guidance/orientation to new employees on company policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics on key HR indicators, such as recruitment, turnover, and training.
  • Undertaking various ad-hoc administrative tasks as required such as communicating with legal authorities, preparing management reports, managing office supplies, supporting operational needs etc.
