Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure close monitoring of activities and related data entry in iSTREAM against DAP
  • Maintain regular communication among BANI implementing partners for effective activity-level work planning and troubleshoot as needed for results achievement
  • Conduct regular district/upazila/union wise meetings with program leads and implementing partners (IPs) to identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot
  • Provide support for programs including assisting with budgeting, scheduling trainings, procurement, and work planning
  • Provides administrative support in meetings, workshops, and field visits (including organizing, preparing meeting minutes, workshop reporting, and follow-up)
  • Assist in creation of power point presentations, drafting reports, translating documents, and providing interpretation during meetings or while on travel
  • Help organizing external events (like fairs, high-level visits etc.), document the events (including capturing key discussion points, photographs etc.) and prepare reports
  • Work closely with program teams in preparing union wise to compile and analyse participant checklists/progress assessment reports filled out by frontline staff and share feedback with IP during the monthly coordination meetings
  • Assist program leads as well as IPs in managing/restructuring staff work assignments, and work schedule
  • Coordinate interactions/relationships between program staff, IPs and other program stakeholders
  • Helps establish knowledge archive (online and/or intranet-based); index, file and organize various program documents and made available for internal communications
  • Ensure report coordination and overall implementation progress to the program team on a weekly basis
  • Helps furnishing (editing, formatting) different programmatic documents and periodic reports.
  • Perform any tasks as assigned by supervisor

Educational Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Development Studies, Social Science or any other related filed.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)


Additional Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of experience working in an international development organization.
  • Minimum of five years of experience providing administrative and programmatic support for international development projects.
  • Experience in project management, including work planning, coordination of field activities, team leadership, results analysis and report writing.
  • Excellent English and Bangla written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to inscribe key information from long reports and put them in plain English and Bangla, and edit
  • Capacity to provide interpretation (Bangla-English required)
  • Language skills in one or more of the CHT ethnic languages’ is preferred
  • Experience working with USAID or other donor funded programs
  • Experience working with an NGO implementing development programs in CHT is preferable
  • Understanding of food security activities, including knowledge of livelihoods, health and nutrition is preferable
  • Experience with administrative and procurement policies/practices
  • Ability to coordinate and organize meetings and/or special events
  • Proficient knowledge of operating office suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and peripherals
  • Must be a team player with mutual trust and understanding in a mixed team; capable to work under pressure, juggling with popping priorities and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative and positive intercultural, and overall social skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse environment.
