Job Context

    XAL is a reputed Alternative Investment firm licensed by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission. The job involves operation, accounts, and compliance management of the registered funds under XAL as well as managing various corporate affairs of the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Administer the entire operational procedure of all the funds and the company;
  • Prepare documentation, and internal policies, and manage data rooms of the company;
  • Provide back-office support to the internal teams;
  • Coordinate with Trustees, Banks, Merchant Bankers, Custodians, Brokers, and all the related parties for the company’s smooth operation;
  • Prepare accounts, manage audits, and regulatory reports and generate Net Asset Value (NAV);
  • Manage transactions, bill voucher creation, and posting in company and fund software;
  • Analyze cash flows, forecast budgets and work closely with cross-functional teams for execution;
  • Ensure compliances are maintained for the funds and company as per regulations;
  • Assist the investors, portfolio companies, and group’s concerns;
  • Assist with group HR in managing talents and nurturing a positive culture.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA is not required but preferred;
  • Solid Background in Accounting or Finance is preferred;
  • Preferred Professional Certification: ACA,ACCA,ACMA
  • Training/Trade Course: vat,tax
  • Skills Required: English Language proficiency

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    asset management, Capital Market Investment, Cash and Fund management, Financial accounting, Fund Management, Information technology, private equity
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Financial Consultants, Investment/Merchant Banking, Venture Capital Firm

Additional Requirements

  • Age 22 to 38 years
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year, At most 5 years;
  • Proven management, operations, and accounting skills;
  • Sound knowledge about financial instruments, regulatory environment, and stakeholders;
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with others and drive results;
  • Working in similar roles in Asset Management/VC/PE firms is plus but not mandatory; and
  • Tech savvy / Willingness to adopt the tech.
