Job Context

  • The Opportunity:
  • This position is mainly responsible for providing day to day technical and/or implementation support to the EYE team members and to the implementing partners towards engagement of the project participants into employment. S/he will engage stakeholders and the private sector for catering the needs of the project participants and community to bring a positive change. S/he will provide support to entrepreneurship development of NEET youths. S/he will provide training/guidance on how to deliver the training in a more interactive way on the employability skill, vocational training, and entrepreneurship training. Moreover, s/he will provide guidelines on how to deliver entrepreneurship training to the project staff and youths. S/he will visit the field 50% of her/his time to ensure quality deliverables at the field level. The position will also provide extensive support to the project team to create employment linkage support in communication with the private sector. S/he will contribute to EYE program on a regular basis to ensure smooth field level implementation of the employment support and assist in mitigating any challenges.
  • The position holder needs to have sound technical knowledge on vocational skill components, employability skills, and entrepreneurship development. S/he will provide overall support to training centre and hub related activities such as career counselling, entrepreneurship development, business/job linkage, business plan development and training delivery. Moreover, s/he will be contributing to the planning and execution of the YIL project activities and ensure that the objectives and results of the project are met to the satisfaction of the participants, local stakeholders, partners, Save the Children and donors. The position holder will provide support to the EYE program implementation where and when necessary.
