Job Responsibilities

  • Work with our Country Director to mutually determine and understand the markets we are targeting.
  • Build a strong infrastructure to support our countries of interest.
  • Develop market leading sales materials which incorporate our brand and raises awareness of the brand and services.
  • Continually conduct effective market research to generate sales leads.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to promote Simi Stove products, including Clean-Cook Stoves, Ethanol/Methanol Cooking Gel, and related accessories.
  • Identify and establish relationships with retail chains, e-commerce platforms, dealerships, and NGOs to expand the distribution network.
  • Lead, develop and drive the sales and marketing strategy for our countries of interest.
  • Build, grow and maintain successful customer relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Demonstrate a track record of success in expanding market share and closing deals.
  • Be a confident and motivated sales leader, leading by example developing clients and implementing a channel associated playbook for sales.
  • Marketing and pipeline management, overseeing marketing planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Account management responsibilities.
  • Be the main point of contact for key account management queries.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the consumer goods or eco-friendly product sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the environmental and health benefits associated with clean cooking solutions.
  • Familiarity with retail chains, e-commerce platforms, and distribution networks is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to an innovative and evolving product line and effectively convey its value to potential clients.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and other business-related events.
