Job Context

    Clifton Group of Companies invites application from competent, innovative & potential candidates for the following position for an immediate appointment in Clifton Group, Chattogram.

Job Responsibilities

  • Candidate should have the fair knowledge of Planning and coordinating with higher management on administrative procedures and systems.
  • Should have the sound knowledge of Bangladesh Labor Law-2006, Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015 (amendment 2022), BEPZA Law 2019 & BEPZA Rules 2022, wages Gazette for RMG in BEPZA and other than BEPZA.
  • Responsible for maintaining liaison with agencies/organizations (Govt./Private) like BGMEA, BKMEA, Labor Office, Environment office, Local influences etc.
  • Liaison with Plant Head, Departmental Head regarding Business Development, legal order/law/gazette implementation and report to the Top management accordingly.
  • Responsible for maintaining personal files of all Head Office Payroll & top management staffs of all factories.
  • Responsible for staff recruitment process as per company policy.
  • Responsible for Job Confirmation procedures.
  • Responsible/Handling Annual staff Performance Appraisal and evaluation process.
  • Responsible for handling day to day operational activities like: Appointment, Service Confirmation, Employee Promotion, Transfer etc.
  • Responsible for issuing circular, Office orders, Inter Office Note, Memos etc. and dispatch them.
  • Responsible for disciplinary actions issues like: Show Cause Notice, Warning Letter, Dismissal Order, Release Order etc.
  • Responsible for allocate Student’s Internship program of different institution/University subject to the approval of higher management.
  • Responsible & monitoring the different meeting with different team and their work.
  • Responsible for conduct leave management as per company policy.
  • Managing all the administrative issues of the Head office
  • To produce necessary reports, records, and documents to the management from time to time.
  • Responsible for monitoring Trade Union Issues/Charted Demand as per law and handling Grievance related work
  • To handle Labor Court & Law, Appeal tribunal Court/High court (Case related matter)
  • Responsible for hired security contract/renewal process
  • Responsible for monitoring internal audit team by the necessary guidance and internal audit planning/ scheduling and team activities also monthly meeting.
  • Responsible for checking and approval maternity bill for payment of workers.
  • Responsible for preparing all types of final settlement bill of management staffs of entire Group.
  • Responsible for preparing & maintain factory wise buyer audit report & summary & communicate with higher management.
  • Handle & monitoring wages Gazette implementation/worker’s wages fixation & yearly increment etc.
  • Responsible for WRAP certification implementation process works of entire Group.
  • Communicate with factory H.R team to implement legal requirement/local laws & Rules.
  • To handle employees Skill Matrix assessment (if required).
  • To maintain discipline of the office/factory.
  • To co-ordinate with MIS/ERP department for ensuring Daily Attendance, Leave management system , Monthly Salary & Wages generated by MIS including IT management tasks etc. of the employees.
  • To promote Corporate social responsibility (CSR) by supporting community involvement program etc. Academically qualified workers may be given opportunity to study in Asian University for Women .
  • Any other issues are assigned by the higher management from time to time.

Educational Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in any Discipline/MBA (HRM/PM) with PGD-HRM/PM.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 20 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 55 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • At least 20 -25 year(s) experience in RMG sector
  • At least 5-7 year(s) experience as GM-Admin & H.R
  • Excellent Leadership Skills with Interpersonal management experiences.
  • Good knowledge in written and spoken English is highly required
  • Sound knowledge of Local Labor law {Bangladesh Labor Law & Rules)/BEPZA Law & Rules, wages gazette in RMG sector}.
  • Must have good computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Internet explorer, Email etc.).
