Job Responsibilities

  • Procurement matters:
  • Receiving materials purchase requisition from staff/different departments.
  • Taking authority’s approval of purchase requisitions.
  • Collecting Quotation, preparing comparative statement and taking approval for fixing vendor to make supply the materials.
  • Negotiating price, quality and delivery time, date with the vendors.
  • Issuing work/purchase order to the vendor.
  • Receiving/purchasing materials from vendor and check with work order.
  • Distribution or placement the purchased materials as per requisition.
  • Updating of purchase and distribution register.
  • Submitting bills/vouchers and adjusting advances (if any) to the accounts department.
  • Maintaining procurement records and warranty information.
  • Westies Sales:
  • Knowing exactly where and how much wastes are accumulating
  • Taking authority’s approval for wastes sale
  • Conducting quotations from parties for wastes sale
  • Preparing comparative statement for wastes sale and taking approval of authorities
  • Informing the date, time and spot of selling wastes to the selling committee and parties.
  • Handover the wastes to the party being involve physically.
  • Preparation of cash memo
  • Submitting cash memo and others relevant papers to the accounts department.
  • Preservation of Westies Sale Records.
  • Stationery Maintenance:
  • Receiving stationery demand from staff/ various departments.
  • Taking authority’s approval of purchase requisitions
  • Purchase of stationery items and keeping in store.
  • Taking authority’s approval to provide stationery items as per demand.
  • Providing items as per approved requisition.
  • Keeping purchase, stock and distribution register updated
  • Maintaining stationery store.
  • Submitting bills/vouchers and adjusting advances (if any) to the accounts department.
  • Others Activities:
  • Helping to print ID card, visiting card etc.
  • Ensure repairing and maintenance of office equipment, fittings, furniture, fixtures, appliances etc.
  • Maintenance & repairing all kind of vehicles
  • Processing bills for office space, courier, mobile, internet, etc.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters degree in any discipline, Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements

  • At least 2 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Purchase and Procurement
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 26 to 35 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Good command of Excel and Word
  • Ability to persuade and influence others
  • Organizational & time management skills
  • Willingness to work under pressure.
