DGM / GM (Accounts & Finance)




Job Context

    APL Holdings Ltd., a subsidiary of a prominent national conglomerate recently engaged in the real estate and civil construction sector, is searching for an experienced AGM/DGM/GM for the Accounts and Finance Department at its corporate office in Chattogram Sadar.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all financial activities in adherence to accounting standards.
  • Review, structure, and enhance financial and management reporting systems, facilitating timely access to relevant financial information for management.
  • Provide strategic and financial guidance to the business to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate and develop annual budgets, including operational and capital expenditures.
  • Generate monthly financial and management reports, conducting variance analysis.
  • Oversee matters with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies (RJSC) related to company affairs.
  • Efficiently manage company funds, aiming to achieve targeted annual returns on investments.
  • Arrange trade financing and manage overall funds flow requirements, identifying investment opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance and manage matters related to Income Tax and VAT with the relevant authorities.
  • Organize and secure Term Loans and Working Capital Finance as needed.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in working with Accounting Standards IAS & IFRS.
  • Prepare essential banking documents for credit facilities.
  • Skillfully handle matters involving VAT, TAX, RJSC, VDS, and TDS.
  • Facilitate Project Finance arrangements for upcoming Construction Projects.

Educational Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance from any Public or Reputed Private University. (CA/CMA fully qualified candidates will be given preference – minimum CA Course Completed is a must)

  • At least 8 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 48 years
  • Only males are allowed to apply
  • Good communication skills – written / oral. Excel in using the latest Tally version. Good at MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT)
  • Preference in Real Estate Sector
