Job Context

    Abdul Momen Khan Memorial Foundation (Khan Foundation) is a private voluntary development organization devoted to democratic and socio-economic development in the country. Khan Foundation is seeking applications from competent, dynamic and experienced candidates.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper documentation with safe and standard system like Bill Vouchers, Bank Statement, Personnel File, Agreement, Letter, Notice, corresponding documents etc.
  • Salary, Fixed Asset, Stock, Leave and Check Issue Register.
  • Control of the financial transactions and prepare weekly report, monthly reports.
  • To prepare voucher and checking bill/ supporting vouchers, make sure approval before all kinds of Payments and receipts.
  • Ensue all kinds of payments timely and accurately like Utility Bill, Office Rent and Staff Salary etc.
  • Banking regularly as per program need.
  • Advance paid to staff as per program need and make sure adjustment within the stipulated time.
  • Ensure Fixed Assets ID and physical verification of fixed assets and inventory item in every month.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the management.
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual regulatory report (Financial statements)
  • Deal with relevant authorities like Income Tax, VAT, Audit Firms, MRA, RJSC, NGO affairs Bureau and relevant organizations.

Educational Requirements

  • A university degree preferably in Commerce and Accounting (M.Com/ MBA) or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 7 year(s)


Additional Requirements

  • The candidate must have at least 7 years working experience in Non Government Organization accounting; supervisory role is an added advantage.
  • The candidate must possess good report writing and analytical skills.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel worksheet, Microsoft office packages specifically spreadsheet, Word Processing software, Power Point and computerized accounting packages.
  • Excellent & pleasant communication, negotiable & leadership skill, honesty, punctual.
  • Must be experienced in using Accounting Tally software and other related software’s.
  • Must have practical knowledge on Micro Credit Projects Accounts Handling.
  • Candidate having working experience in Audit firms will give preference.

Salary

  • 35000-45000 or Negotiable
