Job Context

    We are looking for some skilled Asst. Manager / Manager – HR who will Implement effective strategies for developing organizational culture, and managing change, particularly structure in a positive and supportive manner while developing policies and managing procedures. Will be responsible for day-to-day HR Operations and contribute to making the company a better place to work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain close contact with the Head of HR to follow corporate directives in matters related to human resources, manpower, policies, and procedures. Report to Head of HR in functional issues.
  • With the overall guidance of Head of Group HR, implement and monitor HR plan and policies, restructuring, competency development in the light of the company’s mission and vision. Provide full professional services to all the departments of the factory meeting their expectation.
  • Supervise and guide the job of HR team.
  • Administer recruitment and selection programs and processes in the line with the company’s policy and procedure and administer professional tests and screening as and when required for the zonal units.
  • Handle employee relations programs, and employee grievance issues. Ensure congenial IR (Industrial Relations) environment in the factories and provide appropriate advice while dealing with workers’ representatives or union or participation committee.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of payroll administration for timely payment of wages. Ensure maintenance of an effective HR Information System (HRIS) in the company.
  • Involve in performance management system (PMS), in accordance with established KPI.
  • Initiate and implement training and development program for all sections of employees in the light of Training Needs Assessment (TNA) including training budget.
  • Maintain compliance as per labor Law and maintain a working relationship with labor Directorate/Inspectorate. Submit annual reports to Labor Inspector’s Office.
  • Plan, monitor and achieve people productivity; employee costs savings and compute
  • Support and execute strategic plan for recruitment & selection, on-boarding program and retention in line with the functional need.
  • Create, refine and implement effective, repeatable talent acquisition processes & metrics that drive continuous improvement, tools, assessments and recruiting practices in line company’s values and culture.
  • Help source and retain the best talents to keep the succession pipeline filled for key roles at all time.
  • Create and implement effective strategy for employer branding.
  • Facilitate career management and succession management process for all functions bi annually.
  • Formulate and implement L&D strategies and processes fully aligned to the overall business strategy in conjunction with the relevant business and functional need
  • Formulate, facilitate and implement strategies for training and learning programs, growth and capability enhancement programs in line with business and functional need.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HRM
  • Candidates with PGD in HRM will get extra preference.
  • Skills Required: Bangladesh Labor Law, Factory HR Administration, HR Operations

Experience Requirements

  • At least 7 year(s)

    General HR, HR Operations
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Multinational Companies, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Age 30 to 45 years
  • Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
  • Efficient in MS Office, Excel and Internet usage.
  • Should be elegant, energetic & have pleasant personality.
  • Fluent in English and Bengali.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated and excellent in inter personal skill.
