Job Context

  • SKS Foundation in partnership with CARE Bangladesh is going to implement the SHOUHARDO-III Plus program in Gaibandha & Sirajganj and SHOUHARDO-III DRR Program in Gaibandha District. Following Vacant positions will be recruited for implementing the programs interventions:

Job Responsibilities

  • Overall responsible to manage the whole Program.
  • Responsible for quality implementation of all district/upazila/union level activities under SHOUHARDO III DRR and SHOUHARDO III Plus program.
  • Responsible to develop staff capacity, supervise, guide and support program staffs, LSPs and volunteers to implement program interventions in timely manner.
  • Responsible to coordinate with CARE’s sectoral leads to support in preparing different reports, training modules, knowledge products, CVCA/CAP tools and reports etc.
  • Assist Program Manager-Program in preparing detail work plan (Details Implementation Plan-DIP), Budget and different reports in a regular basis.
  • Maintain network, linkage and liaison with stakeholders are relevant with program implementation and sustainability.
  • Support to POs and others concern for ensure quality implementation of project activities, and monitor and track the achievement of progress of SKS SHOUHARDO III Plus and SKS SHOUHARDO III DRR Activity.
  • Frequently field visit and monitor different programmatic intervention
  • Identify staff training needs; ensure need-based training/orientation for respective individuals timely and appropriately
  • Provide on the job training, coaching, counseling and mentoring to the field level project staffs.
  • Provide different data and information to PM and support to PM for prepares different report.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report, need base special report, field visit report etc.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all field activities.
  • Provide support to PM for monitor and control budget performance.
  • Ensure and effective use of different inputs at field level.
  • Regular monitoring different field activities and take corrective measure accordingly
  • Prepare Program Implementation Plan for SHOUHARDO III Plus and DRR Program To provide support to all staffs for smoothly implement the SHOUHARDO III Plus and DRR Program.
  • Ensure timely completion of the planned activities.
  • Conduct field visit and identify the constraints and make appropriate actions towards achieving the Program goal.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and share with other staffs and Program Manager about field findings.
  • Strictly control the program budget and expense it properly
  • Financial management of the Program. Ensure cost effective of the expenditure.
  • Financial report check and review
  • Check all kinds of bill voucher, input support, petty cash and store and assets
  • Prepare monthly reports, quarterly and Annual Results Report (ARR) and submit to CARE Bangladesh as well as SKS
  • Monitoring report focusing learning progress of participants, opportunities and constraints.
  • Prepare progress presentation for different events

Employment Status


Educational Requirements

  • Master’s / Bachelor degree in any discipline , preferable in Social Science.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 10 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age at most 50 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • At least 10 years’ working experience in any National/International NGO; and at least 05 years’ experience in similar position, particularly in DRR & Resilience, Agriculture & Livelihood and Nutrition project
  • Clear understanding on DRR, Livelihoods and Nutrition project dynamics integrating women empowerment, youth, private sector, market engagement and financial inclusion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
  • Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point, virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.) and others
